a brand new way of looking at your New Year's resolutions - don't make any

Don't make any New Year's resolutions

Do nothing different than you did in 2009.
 - Eat the same
 - Exercise the same
 - Spend the same
 - Study the same
Change nothing - as long as you don't mind getting the same results in 2010 as you did in 2009 - change nothing. although you will gain nothing...this will be a very safe place featuring little to no challenges.

Someone once said that the definition of insanity is to do the same thing you've always done - but always expect different results. It is kind of crazy to think you can expect something new to come from doing things the same way you did.

This year - do something different. Set some realistic goals for yourself and write them down. Repeat them everyday - out loud. Nothing will happen until you learn to speak it. (That's "bible" by the way and that will be explained in part 2)

Don't reach for the moon - just reach a little higher this year than you did the last.

You know what the difference is between a million dollar race horse and a $100,000.00 race horse? Is the million dollar horse actually 10X faster than the $100,000.00 horse? Of course not! All a horse and rider have to do to be 10X as valuable is to "win by a nose"

What I'm saying is this - just be a "nose better" in 2010 - that little move can move you 10 times further what you would think.

So this year - don't set yourself up for a world of disappointments. Just move the bar by an inch. In the world of sports, champions are separated by a split second, a hundredth of a point, a margin of less than an inch or even by one punch. And like all athletes in a race - don't forget to have the people around you to help you succeeded like coaches that know what they're doing because they have done it or have coached others to do what you want to accomplish.

Stay tuned for part 2
